The new Comintec S.r.l., born in 2010 from the merging with OMC S.n.c., mother company founded in 1967 as a manufacturer of components for mechanical transmission, specializing in torque limiters, pneumatic clutches, couplings, adjustable pulleys, motor-slide bases and components for the assembly of automatic machines (DIN705 Stop rings, Washers, Ring nuts …).

Comintec can boast a particular specialization in TORQUE LIMITERS (safety couplings), offering a vast range of models (some of which are patented), thanks to which we rank among the top manufacturers worldwide. These mechanical components are indispensable for manufacturers of automatic machine (packaging machines, bottling machines, labeling machines, ... ) and/or where mechanical motion transmissions are present (conveyors, carriers, ... ), because they offer a high protection against accidental overloads, reducing the machine standstill times with a consequent increase in productivity and decrease in repair and maintenance costs.
