KEB electromagnetic clutches and brakes

KEB Clutches and electromagnetic brakes allow high torque movements to be started up and provide solutions for controlling dynamic stops or safe position holding.

Vermeire offers different types of KEB clutches and brakes, in particular: 

• KEB COMBISTOP spring brakes: a safety brake in case of lack of current. Braking produced by spring compression.
• KEB COMBINORM brakes and clutches: a compact solution for applications concerning machines and drive systems.
• COMBIBOX clutch-brakes: for systems requiring rapid stops and starts with high repetition rates. The Combibox module easily integrates into your machine.
